The ABCs of DBT for Children & Teens - A Virtual CEU Event

This presentation will provide an introduction to dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and its effective practices in working with children and teens. Learn about the framework and efficacy of this evidence-based approach and discuss interventions adapted for clinical work with children and adolescents – from single-session applications to longer courses of care.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the four modules of DBT
- Identify at least three scholarly sources of support that contribute to the evidence base for DBT
- Review interventions from each treatment module for clinical applications with children and adolescents
- Identify resources for continuing professional development in the use of DBT
