Adult & Adolescent Outpatient Programs

outpatient treatmentAurora Behavioral Health System's Outpatient Services offers partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs to help adults and adolescents by providing specialized therapy groups for specific mental health needs. Outpatient Services also offers a dynamic Adult Chemical Dependancy Program. You can access the outpatient programs even if you have not been in an inpatient program.

Program participants return home daily after attending Aurora's outpatient programs. This return home strengthens a successful outcome by giving you the ability to maintain essential links to family and community. This important, individual time allows you to practice new skills learned in the group process, promoting confidence and independence.

Each group meets three hours a day, three days a week, usually for an eight-week period. However, the length of stay depends on the adolscent's unique treatment plan. Family involvement is key to a successful outcome and we ask that family members actively participate in their child’s treatment by attending one session every other week.
